Billy Bob Thornton

Billy Bob Thornton is an American actor, filmmaker, singer, songwriter, and musician.

Thornton was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the son of Virginia Roberta , a psychic, and William Raymond Billy Ray Thornton , a high school history teacher and basketball coach who died when Thornton was 18. At the age of seven months, Thornton set the Clark County record for heaviest infant, atpounds. He was one of three brothers, with Jimmy Don , who died of a heart attack at 30, and John David , who resides in California. Jimmy Don wrote a number of songs, two of which Thornton has recorded on his solo albums.
